Photographs
Many of the naturalists and scientists who created field notes and research materials were also photographers. They carried cameras on their field trips as well as their scientific knowledge. Selections of those photographs, specifically relating to Nebraska and the Sandhills, are presented as a gallery. The photos are outlined by location, such as a county, city, and region. If a specific location is unknown, the photographs are identified as part of Nebraska. Adding additional photographs, along with with a geographic timeline, is still in under way.
